The auction is open to the public. Michael Fox International Inc. is serving as auctioneer. A company representative said that the buildings' owners have reserved the right to not sell if no offers are considered to be high enough, but did not specify what would constitute an acceptable bid.
Owners are likely to have a public auction, with little notice, when they want to sell the property quickly. The owner of these two buildings is 1994-N2 Missouri Associates LP. No comment was available from company spokespeople.
The buildings are more than 90 percent leased. Tenants include General Services Administration (GSA), Farmers Commodities Corp. and Midwest Express Corp.
Executive Hills office park is located a few miles north of downtown on Interstate 29. It is less than two miles from Kansas City International Airport.
