The retail center is at the southwest corner of University Drive and Commercial Boulevard in Broward County, 35 miles north of Downtown Miami. The Rotella Toroyan Clinton Group of Fort Lauderdale handled the buyout, as well as a second buyout transaction for Shells Casual Seafood Restaurants in Jacksonville, FL.
Shells purchased a 10-year lease with an inception value of $443,000 and a total value of $652,560 from Cenpo Ltd. of Jacksonville. The lease began in June 1996. The 5,438 sf is at Merchant's Walk, a 53,246-sf strip center on San Jose Boulevard.
