Holder was honored for his extensive work in the community and his efforts in bringing the 1996 Olympic Games to Atlanta. Holder Construction is a sister company.
McDonald Development took top honors as the industrial development firm of the year.
The Carter/Mathis award is named for two late real estate leaders, Frank Carter, who formed Carter & Associates, and Harvey Mathis, of Taylor & Mathis. The honor is given to individuals who make significant contributions to the community during a specific year or throughout their life.
