Three manufacturing companies are currently adding to their facilities. Plastic Packaging is expanding its space in the Upland Industrial Park, along the Kansas Highway 32 corridor. Orion Industries is moving from the Strawberry Hill area into Fairfax and Penske is expanding in the Armourdale industrial district.
New to the county recently are Faultless Starch-Bon Ami Co., which is moving its product storage facilities, from Kansas City, MO, and Fastenal, a nuts and bolts distributor, which is moving from Kansas City, MO to Edwardsville.
