"The IBM Microelectronics business is facing unprecedented customer demand. Capital investments and people investments are key for IBM Bromont to help meet that demand."
IBM's Microelectronics Division announced in October plans to spend $2.5 billion to upgrade its semiconductor chip plant in East Fishkll in Dutchess County, NY.
