NEW YORK CITY-Donald Trump has long been known for attaching his name to the buildings he develops, and now a commercial tenant will have the chance to do so, too. At a cocktail party Thursday evening at Trump Tower at the corner of 56th Street, Trump announced that two new floors of the building, each with 20,000 sf, are available for lease.

The tenant that signs up for the space, which is being marketed as suitable for offices, retail or showrooms, will have its name permanently displayed from a second or third floor window. It won’t be the first to compete with the Trump name. In 1998, a two-story high sign with the name Avon was installed above the entrance. Its gray letters are set against a cream background and behind clear instead of bronze glass windows that cover the rest of the building, making it more conspicuous than the Trump name below it.
