The association is consolidating operations from Interstate 25 in Greenwood Village and Chicago office to a nine-acre site in southeast Aurora. The new campus will be at the intersection of the E-470 toll road and Gartrell Road in the Eagle Bend Office Campus."The parcel is ideal for our use, and for others who need high exposure on I-25 and E-470," says Terry Stokes, the association's executive vice president. The site abuts a park and Piney Creek, a waterway draped by old cottonwood trees.
The office park is being developed by Eagle Bend Commercial LLC, a joint venture of US Home and Denver-based Westbrook Development Partners. Although US Home is based in Houston, Colorado is its largest market. "Our infrastructure is in, the E-470 interchange is open, and the mountain views have been in place a long time," says David Snow of US Home.
The first building for the association will consist of 45,000 sf. When completed, Eagle Bend Office Campus will total 500,000 sf. The association will be joining Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, ADT Security Systems and Boeing Aeronautics as one of Aurora's major employers.
