IronSpire Adds Support Beam to Online Construction Management Tool

TIGARD, OR-IronSpire Inc. is enhancing its JobSite construction project management platform with a job safety component from Portland-based Safetylogic.com, an internet safety management subsidiary of Aon Corp. Tigard-based IronSpire will market the new Safetylogic product as a way to reduce exposure to liability for project managers and owners through tighter control of safety processes.

IronSpire says its JobSite product streamlines construction project management by maintaining all communications, plans, and drawings on one central extranet and by managing notification of changes for the project team members. Safetylogic says its product helps ensure jobsite safety compliance through automation of safety meeting notifications, distribution of health and safety bulletins, and implementation of on-line safety surveys. IronSpire says Safetylogic also offers project managers financial incentives because the correlation between strong safety practices and reduced on-site accidents means insurance companies may offer discounts.
