Another 3,160-sf facility, with seating for 70, will open in Avondale on Thursday, Dec. 7, at Dysart Rd. one block north of Interstate 10, according to company spokesperson Michelle Guzman. Reportedly, Avondale police are preparing for expected traffic problems at the I-10 off ramp, with the opening of the popular restaurant there.
Restaurants are also planned for Tempe, Mesa and downtown Phoenix.
Established in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder, Irvine-based In-N-Burger was California's first "drive-thru" hamburger stand, and its restaurants are well-known for their nostalgic 50s appearance, made-to-order hamburgers and milk shakes made with real ice cream. The company has facilities throughout California, one in Las Vegas and now two in Arizona.
