SmartClose coordinates residential closing procedures between the buyer, seller, mortgage lenders, attorneys, realtors and title and escrow companies, alerting each participant to completed tasks and approaching deadlines. The service is designed to notify participants of status changes in the closing process through the customer choice of email, pager, mobile phone or fax.
