A shopping destination for more than three decades, the Hub had fallen into disrepair by the time Burnham Pacific picked it up as a value-add opportunity. A couple of the mall's previous anchor tenants - Mervyns and Old Navy – left in favor of the NewPark Mall across the freeway, but they are being backfilled by Home-furnishings store Pier 1 Imports and restaurant New Tung Kee Noodle House, among others. The complex is now 70% leased, says Burnham.
