The company, currently located on Oak Port Street, has already brought on six new agents and plans to hire several more. "We will be bursting at the seams," says the source. "We are making these changes at this time because we recognized the active market in Oakland and the potential growth."
Grubb & Ellis also has opened a new office on the Peninsula, with Mark Terzian Jr. appointed managing director. In addition, the brokerage firm also recruited four additional senior vice presidents--Nancy Morse and Burke Weismann, both from the San Jose office--and Jerry Igra from the San Francisco office. Erin Carew was hired to head the firm's new Technology Services Group.
