Taylorsville Park Offers 40,000-SF Spec Building

TAYLORSVILLE, NC-A 160-acre business park has opened here about 60 miles northwest of Charlotte in an effort to establish more of a technology base in Alexander County.

TAYLORSVILLE, NC-An Alexander County railroad company is joining with local developers to create technology-oriented Alexander Business Park, a venture that offers a 40,000-sf spec building 60 miles northwest of Downtown Charlotte.

The park was built on Alexander Railroad Co. land just east of Taylorsville and developed as a joint venture between G.L. Wilson Building Co. and Statesville-based EnergyUnited. Since natural gas is now available in many part of the county, local officials are looking to attract more companies to the base of furniture manufacturers that dominate the local economy.
