Summit Ridge Business Center, a joint development of Summit Commercial Properties and Mack-Cali Realty Corp., is now fully leased following deals with Instromedix, a provider of telemedicine systems for the health care industry, and Genisys Financial Corp., a national residential mortgage banker.

Genisys signed a five-year, $1.2 million lease for 16,000 sf and Instromedix signed a five-year, $1.8 million lease for 25,000 sf at Summit Ridge. Genisys will relocate its national headquarters office to the new space in December, moving 75 employees from its current offices on Morehouse Drive.

"Our company is just four years old and expanding at an astounding pace. Summit Ridge offers a great location and first-class image that will accommodate our projected growth," says Larry MacDonald, president of Genisys Financial. "Additionally, since we conduct a sizeable portion of our business via the Internet, we rely on solid fiber connectivity and multiple T1 lines, which are easily accessible at Summit Ridge."

Instromedix, meanwhile, will make Summit Ridge its United States headquarters in January. "It is important to our company that we have access to state-of-the-art communication technologies to support our aggressive focus on telemedicine," says Bob White, president of Instromedix. Summit Ridge "provides our company with the technological infrastructure capable of maintaining such a network."

The three-building office and industrial complex was designed by Turpit + Potter Architects. The Class A business park also is home to INET Inc., a leading Southern California telecommunications solutions provider, and NuEar, the world's largest manufacturer of hearing-aid devices.

Voit Commercial represented Summit in the transactions. John Burnham & Company represented Genisys, and Burnham Real Estate represented Instomedix.
