The company plans to move into 4,100-sf office in the Stadium Walk project at 1885 Blake St. on Dec. 18. The new office is near Coors Field and the recently opened Celtic Tavern.
"As our agency and client base has grown, the time was right to establish a solid foothold in Denver to further dominate the regional PR market," says John Metzger, founder and CEO. "The additional space and location will enable us to maintain our present growthand employ the best people regardless of whether they live near Boulder or Denver."
To direct the growth of the Denver location, Metzger Associates has re-hired Chad Morris to serve as general manager of the new office. Morris had first joined Metzger Associates in 1996. He left last year to become director of corporate communications at Smallworldwide plc in Englewood, CO, which earlier this year had been purchased by General Electric.
From a one-man office in 1991, Metzger Associates now has a staff of 42. Last year, its annual billing hit $2.8 million and it projects $4.5 million in billings this year. The firm provides national media, analyst and investor relations and strategic branding and positioning services for companies ranging in size from start-ups to large corporations. The firm has focused on technology and telecommunication companies since its inception. Its clients include Exabyte, Sprint PCS, Mobility Electronics, WorldCom and USA.NET.
