NAC International Signs Five-Year, 65,000-SF Lease at The Forum

ATLANTA-The estimated value of the contract is $13 million. Rental rates in the market are between $18.50 per sf and $21.50 per sf. CarrAmerica Development Inc. of Washington, DC is erecting the $13-million, 90,000-sf office bulding.

ATLANTA-CarrAmerica Development Inc. of Washington, DC is having a good week. The developer signed NAC International to a five-year, 65,000-sf lease valued at an estimated $13 million. The space is in a 90,000-sf, $13-million office building CarrAmerica is constructing at the Forum, a 54-acre, 500,000-sf, mixed-use development in the Peachtree Corners area of Norcross, GA, 20 miles northeast of Downtown.

Market rents are $18.50 per sf to $21.50 per sf. NAC, an Atlanta-based nuclear energy and electric services company, will use the space for its new headquarters. NAC will occupy 72% of the structure which is expected to be completed in fall 2001. CarrAmerica owns 7.3 acres of the 54-acre tract; Forum Development Group owns the balance.
