As part of the parent company's national expansion, BB Network inherited three additional Puget Sound office spaces this year through acquisitions. Parish Cabling (at 11709 Cyrus Way in Mukilteo), Duracom, Inc. (at 14040 NE 181St St. in Woodinville), and Clear Communications (at 200 Andover Park E # 1 in Tukwila) were absorbed into BB Network.
The company's 11,000-sf Tukwila office will remain open as a service center for clients in the south end. However, the company plans to vacate the combined 8,000-sf of space in the Woodinville and Mukilteo offices by January 1st. Approximately 100 of the company's 180 employees will be relocated into its regional headquarters in the Tech Center, where it leases a 32,000-sf building.
The Tech Center, comprised of five warehouse/office buildings, has multiple owners. BB Network's building is owned by Cedar Properties LLC of Seattle. Katherine Laird of Century Pacific LP, Seattle, represented Cedar in the BB Network lease. Though Laird declined to comment on the value of the lease, she tells GlobeSt the term is 10 years.
