Davala was an asset-backed-sales executive with Greenwich, an investment banking firm specializing in fixed-income securities, for the past 10 years. Now, he will oversee a staff of approximately 20 sales executives working out of the firm's Greenwich offices. He will report to Jay Levine, co-chief executive officer. Prior to joining the firm, Davala spent four years as an asset-backed-salesman with Drexel Burnham Lambert.

The firm also reports that Ryan Mullaney, head of asset-backed sales for Greenwich Capital's Chicago office, has been promoted to head of Regional Asset Backed Sales, with added responsibility for the San Francisco office.
