ROMEOVILLE, IL-Lyon Workspace Products, a national distributor of shelving, racks, lockers and industrial workplace products, has leased 277,500 sf at Windham Industrial Center V, a 450,000 sf cross-dock facility now under construction at Windham Lakes Business Park in southwest suburban Romeoville, Will County. Lyon will relocate its headquarter sales/marketing, customer service and distribution divisions to this site in February 2001. It is currently the first tenant at Windham V. Lyon's main offices are now in west suburban Aurora, IL.

Windham Lakes Business Park is AMLI Commercial Properties Trust's largest business park. The 500-acre corporate park is located at the northeast quadrant of the Weber Road/I-55 interchange. One of Montgomery Ward's largest distribution centers, with 750,000 sf it is a major tenant of the business park.

Christopher Lydon of the Trammell Crow Co. represented Lyon Workspace Products in the transaction. He says that the state-of-the-art, cross-dock facility and the location's immediate access to I-55 were important aspects to the decision to relocate.
