The two-year-old, 300,000-sf mixed-use infill venture is being monitored carefully by area developers/investors for its daring in offering suburban amenities in a Downtown ambience. Five tenants currently occupy 80% of the space which is going for $25.50 per sf, full service.
Besides professional office, Thornton Park Central, a limited liability local firm, offers avant-garde residential loft units, specialty retail and restaurants. Colliers Arnold broker Susan Morris calls Thornton Park Central a good example of the new urbanism concept in commercial development today. "We took the space because we wanted to be more than the brokerage side of this equation," she tells GlobeSt.com.
