Vignette Lands High-Profile Client for B2B Application

AUSTIN-A state capital-headquartered IT company has landed a lucrative contract for its B2B applications. Vignette, making headlines for its proposed downtown project, has forged a relationship with the Wall Street Journal.

AUSTIN-Vignette Corp. has added another high-profile customer to its ranks.

The Wall Street Journal Online has signed a worldwide, enterprise license agreement to use the Vignette V/Series and Vignette eSeries technology suite to power the media company’s Web properties, including WSJ.com. Vignette’s products are intended to improve the content, performance and function of Wall Street Journal Online to help publish the news more quickly. The Vignette package will also allow editors and reporters from around the world to automatically update the content of the news stories while the site maintains a consistent presentation and navigation layer.
