Airport Business Park Adding More Wings

CHARLOTTE-The Illinois owners are building a 112,000-sf addition to an existing 80,000-sf structure that will be completed in April. A 220,000-sf second expansion will follow, depending on pre-leasing activity.

CHARLOTTE-The 11-building, 475,000-sf International Airport Center is on a growth curve. The Illinois-based owners of the park are adding 112,000 sf currently with another 220,000 sf later that will grow the office and flex space property to 807,000 sf.

The estimated hard construction cost of the total 432,000 sf of planned new space is $32 million. The 112,000-sf addition is an expansion of an existing 80,000-sf building. Plans call for completion by April.
