Historic Firestone Building Converted to Furniture Showroom has New Tenant

KANSAS CITY, MO. - Adelphia Business Solutions to share space in the Abdiana building

KANSAS CITY, MO. – Nicolas Abnos, who has converted the historic Firestone building into the Abdiana furniture and retail store at 2001 Grand Blvd., is now taking tenants. A 15-year lease offered by Adelphia Business Solutions was enough to convince Abnos to make room for the company on the second and third floors. Adelphia will also occupy part of the building’s annex, using that area for telecommunications switching equipment.

Adelphia is a nationwide provider of integrated communications services to businesses. The downtown area is becoming increasingly popular for phone companies looking for space to house switching stations. Adelphia plans to also open a sales office in the Abdiana building. Joyce Murray, broker with Zimmer Management Co., represented Abnos.
