Colonial Place at Virginia Center is a $25-million project consisting of three buildings totaling of 218,750 sf. Two buildings are under construction on the 17-acre site, according to One Colonial Place principals Christopher W. Rice and John T. Sutton III. Sutton and Rice are senior vice presidents at CB Richard Ellis, the commercial real estate company that will oversee project leasing and management. The complex is the first high-class, multi-story office space for Virginia Center, a planned mixed-use area of housing, retail and office space in the Interstate 295-Interstate 95 corridor.

The first building, with two stories and about 50,000 sf, is scheduled for completion in May 2001. The third building will also be 50,000 sf. The second building is a four-story, 118,000-sf scheduled to open in November 2001.
