Ft. Worth-based Carter & Burgess is an architecture, engineering and construction management firm with 120 employees in Austin. It now leases space in Barton Oaks Plaza and plans to move to the Bee Caves address in February 2002.

A Live Oak Development source tells GlobeSt.com that the Bee Caves project is so new that it has yet to be given a name. Enviroplan and Alliance Architects are the designers. White Construction has secured the general contractor's award and the Broussard Group is handling the landscape design.

The building is the only one planned at the site at this time, says Linda Humphreys of Live Oak Development. The company owns, leases and manages its own buildings.
