Parsons has won the Eagle Award for excellence in construction from the National Associated Builders and Contractors. In October, the ABC's Houston chapter had led the way in October by giving the project its "Best of Best" honor.

The division is reserved for projects totaling $100 million or more. It is considered ABC's most prestigious award, issued for the Best Merit Shop Construction Project in the US.Parsons is being recognized for executing 92% of the project's man hours on a direct-hire basis, using ABC members for 99% of the field time. More than 1.2 million of field work had been completed without a reportable injury, down-time accident or fatality - accounting for several safety honors. The project had come in 4% under budget and had been wrapped up two weeks ahead of schedule.
