The center is a regional planning and economic development agency for 17 counties in the east central region of the state. The new space doubles the size of the agency's previous quarters. The CSRA Center's affiliate agencies, the CSRA Agency on Aging and the CSRA Development Companies, are also moving into the space. A total 32 people will relocate by the end of the year.

The seven-acre River Watch Center complex began in 1998 and continues to expand, largely with build-to-suit facilities. Among other tenants in the complex are Ikon Office Solutions, which will move into 10,000 sf in January; Five Star Food Services Inc., a regional vending machine supply building in a 24,000-sf distribution center; and Atlanta-based office furniture dealer Ivan Allen Co., which leases a 25,000-sf showroom.
