WCF Development has bought a 2.8-acre tract from The Devereaux Foundation. The acreage at FM 518 and North Calder Road in League City, south of Houston, will be the building site for a 14,490-sf Walgreen's. In another retail development buy, Seyed H. Moosavideen has purchased one acre at the northeast corner of Old Spanish Trail and Almeda from John S. Van De Mark.

Other acreage buys has put 22 acres into the hands of Superior Carriers. The property is located in Bayport Industrial Park from FMC Corp. Fire protection & Mechanical Services has acquired 6.3 acres at Beltway 8 and Fisher Road from Avex Acquisitions while R.G. Investments No 2 has taken control of 1.9 acres on Eldridge Parkway from Eldridge Land LLC.

Siyavar Inc., dba Best Western Inn & Suites - Intercontinental Airport, has secured 1.57 acres at 7114 Will Clayton Parkway from Chao Kuan Lee and Li Yang Huang Lee. Plans call for an 82-room motel. Meanwhile, Stone Mountain Properties has bought the Cottages Apartments, 253-unit complex at 10300 Harwin, from KCF Partners LP; and BGK Clear Lake Operating Associates LP is the new owner of the 124,908-sf Clear Lake Central I Building at 555 Gemini. Koll Bren Schreiber Realty Advisors is the seller.
