Houston Software Firm Opens Amsterdam Headquarters, Training Center

HOUSTON-BMC Software Inc., a Houston-based major provider of e-business systems management, has opened a new five-story international headquarters in Amsterdam and business school offering training courses for BMC Software partners, customers and employees in Europe.

BMC operations in Europe and Asia Pacific have been expanding rapidly, and the Amsterdam center will be the central point of coordination for all BMC Software international affairs, according to Darroll Buytenhuys, senior vice president of field operations. He will run the new facility and oversee BMC’s organizations in Europe and the Asia Pacific region.

“The new headquarters will greatly assist in ensuring that this sense of confidence is aggressively projected into the marketplace,” Buytenhuys says. The same team of trainers, formerly assigned to a center in Nice, France, will staff the Amsterdam facility. The program is being updated as a result of feedback from prior participants.
