Price Entities and the San Diego Redevelopment Agency plan to build theproject that will include 116 affordable townhomes, a parkinggarage and office and retail space. The project is the latest additionto Urban Village, a 6-year-old, $100 million redevelopment project torestore blighted innercity neighborhoods.

City leaders recently approved demolition at the site, which is bounded byUniversity and Fairmount avenues and 43rd and Wightman streets. Price hopesto finish the project by summer 2002.
