Lashins, president of Lashins Realty Services Corp. of Armonk, says that his firm is currently marketing space at the soon to be built 90 Business Park Dr. property, a 112,000-sf office building. The new property will be part of Lashins' Westchester Business Park office complex, which consists of approximately 10 buildings and 500,000 sf of space.

"The building has had its foundation in place for some time and we plan to break ground this spring," Lashins notes. He says that his firm has received some tenant interest in the property and he hopes to have at least 30% of the building pre-leased before the first shovel turns dirt at the site.

Lashins notes that the decision to build came out of necessity. He says that his firm's Westchester Business Park complex is 100% occupied. "We are turning away tenants right now and we have tenants that want to expand and can't."

By the time spring arrives, Lashins believes that tenants at 90 Business Park Drive will run the gamut from current Westchester Business Park tenants looking to expand, other Westchester businesses as well as corporations from New York City and Fairfield County that want to take advantage of lower rental costs in Westchester County.

Although Lashins admits that financing for the new building has not been secured as yet, he says, "I don't expect that to be a problem."
