The company reportedly chose Treat Towers because of its close proximity to Walnut Creek BART and the freeway. It will be used to house its 175 employees who live in the East Bay. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.

Earlier this year, the real estate investment trust inked agreements with Novato-based Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. and Louisville, Colo.-based Storage Technology Corp. that brought the twin 10-story, 375,000-sf towers to 94 percent occupancy.

About 300 Genesys employees will remain in San Francisco, where the company is reportedly seeking an additional 200,000 sf of space. Andie Katter at GVA Beitler Commercial Realty Services represented Genesys in the Treat Towers Lease.
