County Proposes Raising Some Fees, Lowering Others

SAN DIEGO-County environmental officials have reviewed their fees and plan to raise some of them and lower others.

SAN DIEGO-The county will hold public workshops late next month to gather comments on proposed changes to fees charged to builders, restaurants, hotels and other commercial enterprises that require inspections.

The Department of Environmental Health is proposing to increase some fees and others. The first workshop will be held Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. in the Escondido City Council chambers, at 201 North Broadway. The second workshop will be held at 2 p.m. the same day in the hearing room of the county Planning and Land Use Department, Suite B, at 5201 Ruffin Rd. in San Diego.
