TSYS signed a 10-year, 60,000-sf lease at 200 Barrett Summit, a two-story, 80,000-sf building scheduled to break ground in mid-January and be completd by next December. The estimated aggregate value of the lease is $15 million. Rental rates in the area range between $24 psf and $27 per sf.

TSYS initially will move 300 employees into the building. The space can accommodate 400 workers. Total System Services is 80.8% owned by Synovus Financial Corp. of Columbus, GA. The 200 Barrett Summit building is one of three being developed in the Barrett Summit park by a partnership of Pope & Land Enterprises and Brasfield Gorrie, a Birmingham, AL-based general contracter.
