Credit Card Handler Taking 60,000 SF for 10 Years at Estimated Aggregate Rent of $15 Mil

ATLANTA-Total System Services of Columbus, GA has signed a 10-year lease for 60,000 sf space in 200 Barrett Summit, which is expected to be completed at year end 2001. The estimated value of the lease is $15 million.

ATLANTA-Total System Services, a major Columbus, GA-based processor of credit card and other transactions, is moving its Atlanta regional offices next year from Northchase Office Park in Marietta, GA to the Barrett Summit business park in the Kennesaw area of Cobb County, along the I-75 corridor in the northwest quadrant of metro Atlanta.

TSYS signed a 10-year, 60,000-sf lease at 200 Barrett Summit, a two-story, 80,000-sf building scheduled to break ground in mid-January and be completd by next December. The estimated aggregate value of the lease is $15 million. Rental rates in the area range between $24 psf and $27 per sf.
