Local Leader Eyes Northland Market

KANSAS CITY, NORTH, MO - Gold Bank to open location in the affluent Briarcliff West development.

KANSAS CITY, NORTH, MO – Officials at Gold Bank, based in Leawood, KS, have announced plans to expand into the Northland. The bank’s first branch in Clay County is expected to open in the second half of next year in the upscale Briarcliff West development. The development, just north of the Missouri River, features high-end homes, offices and retail stores, much like those found in affluent Johnson County, KS.

Construction has begun on the building where Gold Bank will anchor the ground floor. Gold Bank’s asset base ranks in the top five for local commercial institutions, with other locations in Lenexa and Shawnee, KS, and on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, MO. Grubb & Ellis/The Winbury Group is the leasing agent for the project.
