San Diego Firm's Asset Buy Bringing No Changes to Tivoli

AUSTIN-A 19-year-old San Diego-based company has bought a Tivoli product suite and related assets. The buyout will not affect Tivoli's Austin operation or Peregrine Systems' Indianapolis office, which is being leased from Tivoli.

AUSTIN-San Diego-based Peregrine Systems has acquired the Tivoli Service Desk suite of products and related assets. The acquisition will not change operations at Tivoli’s Austin headquarters, a company source told GlobeSt.com.

“The product application that has been purchased was actually developed in Indianapolis so it (the acquisition) will have no affect on our operation whatsoever,” says Maggie McLening of Tivloi System Inc. She says the acquisition is unlikely to prompt changes in the Indianapolis office either, since Peregrine Systems is leasing space in the same building as Tivoli’s Indianapolis offices. Tivoli, an IBM company, provides Infrastructure Management software and eMarkets solutions, with headquarters in Arboretum Plaza One, at 9442 Capital of Texas Hwy. north.
