A ground-breaking date hasn't been set. There has been no pre-leasing activity. The first phase will comprise 15,000 sf of shops anchored by a supermarket.

Charlotte City Council members are expected to vote on the developer's rezoning request Jan. 15. The proposal also calls for improving the intersection of the Mount Holly-Huntersville Road, ranked as the ninth most dangerous in Mecklenburg County. Cambridge, the state and the city of Charlotte are expected to share in the expense of changing the direction of the roads, acquiring the necessary right-of-ways and adding traffic signals at an estimated cost of $1 million.
