The "SPU Master Plan Standing Advisory Committee" will make sure SPU complies with the Plan as approved by City Council, according to Cliff Louie, assigned to the project by the City. "I'm preparing to send out notices and run ads for people interested in participating," Louie said.

People with professional experience and skills as well as those living near the University and in the Queen Anne area are especially wanted for the Committee. They can write Cliff Louie at 700 Third Ave., Room 400, Seattle, WA 981-4-1848 by February 2. Louie is available at 206-684-0209.

SPU has already torn down some aging structures to make way for the new buildings.
