The 140,000-sf property, which is located at 9000 Sunset Blvd., features a 12-story advertisement for HBO cable network. The commercial and retail building houses various entertainment industry tenants, such as New Line Productions, Saturn Films and Zomba Recording Corp.
"Our intent is to own and operate one-of-a-kind landmark properties in Southern California and 9000 Sunset is a perfect compliment to our existing portfolio," says Joseph Mani, VP of Mani Brothers Real Estate Investment, the firm that bought the property.
The seller was represented in-house by Joseph Mani. Ryan Smith, Fred Cordova and Carl Muhlstein from Cushman Realty Corp. represented the seller, a joint venture formed by ING Realty Partners and Jupiter Realty.
