Stukalin had joined Weitzman in 1997 and had been named Texas' Rookie of the Year in 1998. His main focus has been retail properties and tenant representation, putting together a portfolio of eight Houston-area retail properties, owned by a variety of joint ventures, to exclusively market the diverse properties.

The mix includes Aspenglen Plaza, 19,195 sf and Bear Creek Square, 14,440 sf, both along Highway 6 north; and Sterling Knolls, 30,210 sf in Clear Lake. Also on the list are Cypress Station, 125,994 sf at 200 FM 1960 west at Interstate 45, with tenants including Louis Shanks, Larry's Shoes, Bennigan's and Lasagna House III; and Fairbanks Plaza, 94,845 sf, anchored by Kroger, at 14121-14195 NW Freeway. In Katy, the properties are Kingsland Village, 51,557 sf at 21930 Kingsland, with tenants including Goodyear, Cycle Spectrum and Farmers Insurance; Mason Creek, 50,690 sf at 870 S. Mason Rd., with tenants such as State Farm, Coastal Bank and TCBY; and Mayde Creek, 26,000 sf at 2211 Fry Rd.
