MCI WorldCom will take the fourth through eighth floors and 11th through 13th floors, occupying about 18% of the 44-story office building, which was part of a $152-million package sale with adjoining property in 1998.
MCI WorldCom was represented by Cushman & Wakefield's Downtown Chicago office. Executive directors Kent Ilhardt and Jeff Samaras along with associate director Steve Bersell negotiated on behalf of MCI WorldCom. The property's owners, listed as BTS Owners in property tax records, were represented by Jack McKinney and Mike Watts of J.F. McKinney and Associates, also located in Downtown Chicago.
