Miller, who will be based at the company's regional office here, is a 30-year industry veteran who came to Legacy Partners after stint with Maguire Partners, where he was responsible for the development and leasing of the firm's portfolio. His duties there also included overseeing $715 million of financing for several high profile projects such as the 1.1 million-sf MGM Plaza in Santa Monica and the 1.4 million-sf Library Tower and Wells Fargo North Tower, both in Los Angeles.
In announcing the appointment, Barry DiRaimondo, senior executive for Legacy Partners, says, "Legacy Partners is actively pursuing a variety of real estate opportunities in some of the Western United States' most sought after markets, and we are fortunate to have one of Southern California's most capable and experienced players heading this activity,"
Miller formerly was operating partner and SVP for Legacy Partners, overseeing the development, leasing and management of five million sf of space in the company's California portfolio.
Miller is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Los Angeles Central City Association, and is vice chairman of the Board of Hillsides Home for Children in Pasadena.
