With the addition of Plus Klasse, the 12,000-sf building, located at Sixth and Lamar Streets, is 100% occupied, says a source with The Weitzman Group, the property's leasing company. Other tenants in the one-year-old building include Crescent City Beignets and HQ Fitness.
Plus Klasse also operates a store in the Houston Design Center and is opening a store in Mexico City. The Austin location in the West Sixth Marketplace retail center is expected to open this spring. Lance Morris of The Weitzman Group's commercial retail division handled negotiations with Lance Cummings of The Cummings Group.
Plus Klasse features elegant, contemporary home and office furniture and wall-to-wall shelving and storage units. The retailer represents several lines, including Poliform, Cassina, Matteo Grassi and B&B Italia. The store also features furniture by Le Corbusier, Frank Lloyd Wright and Mies van der Rohe.
