Stock Brokerage Signs 10-Year Lease for 18,215 SF at New Property

DURHAM, NC-Salomon Smith Barney will be moving into new quarters in September, three months after the three-story, class A, 54,650-sf Valley View building is completed. The estimated value of the lease is $3 million. Durham is 140 miles northeast of Downtown Charlotte.

Salomon's 10-year lease has an estimated value of $3 million. The building will be completed in June and will offer surface parking for 190 vehicles, nine-foot ceilings and high-speed Internet access.

Jeff Harper of the Staubach Co. represented Salomon Smith Barney. Sandy Allen and Jim Stewart of Anthony Allenton Commercial Real Estate handle leasing for the building owner.
