TVS won for the design of its addition to the 2.2 million-sf McCormick Place, Chicago's convention center. The honor was one of 14 handed out by the AIA. The architectural firm's design, chosen from among 421 submissions, included an exhibit hall of nearly one million sf, meeting space and a grand concourse 1,000 feet long and 100 feet in height, as well as a new entrance to the center.

TVS has designed a number of convention centers, including the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia and a convention center in Hot Springs, AR. The firm has also designed numerous corporate buildings around the country.
