Uniform Rental Company Joins Flow of Downtown Businesses Moving North Of River

KANSAS CITY, NORTH, MO.-Cintas Corp. will build a 53,000-sf facility in the Northland, abandoning a downtown site. The move will shift 100 from the downtown location to the new site here, expected to be ready in February 2002.

KANSAS CITY, NORTH, MO.-Plans were unveiled this week by Cintas Corp. to build a $7.5-million facility in the Northland. The new uniform plant will replace an existing facility the company has operated downtown at 1735 Cherry St. after Cincinnati-based acquired Unitog Co. of Kansas City about two years ago.

The new 53,000-sf facility will be located at Northeast 46th Street and North Corrington Avenue. Construction is expected to start this spring and be completed by February 2002.
