Boston Scientific Selling Redmond Facilities

REDMOND, WA-Boston Scientific would prefer the structures and 8.5 acres of the site go as a package, but will consider separate sales of the two buildings. The disposition is part of a nationwide downsizing by the medical device manufacturer.

REDMOND, WA-Boston Scientific Corp. is selling its local facilities – more than 160,000 sf – in a sealed-bid process being handled by the Seattle office of Staubach Corporation. Boston Scientific has built out a majority of the space as a mix of office space, laboratories and manufacturing facilities for its medical devices. The property, located adjacent to Bear Creek near where State Route 520 ends in Redmond, includes 10,000 sf of clean-room space, Staubach’s Hans Kemp tells GlobeSt.

Boston Scientific would prefer the structures and 8.5 acres of the site go as a package, says Kemp, but will consider separate sales of the two buildings. Building A contains 69,420 sf in 2 stories, and Building B has 94,034 sf, also in 2 stories. The complex, at 17425 NE Union Hill Road, also includes 488 parking stalls. The disposition is part of a nationwide downsizing by the medical device manufacturer.
