The $5.5 million, 56,000-sf Eastern Star Homes was the most expensive of the trio of projects. PCL converted the structure, which stands at 16850 Bastanchury Road in Yorba Linda, from a hospital to a senior housing facility. Carde Ten Architects also contributed to the project.

The second project found PCL teaming with HNA Pacific Architects for a $3.6-million, design-build contract. The team constructed a five-level, 503-stall parking garage for the West Angeles Church of God at 3500 Crenshaw Blvd.

In Arcadia, PCL has finished a $3-million project for the Santa Anita Race Track, which took eight weeks to complete. The job included installation of horse-wash stations and a new transfer station. The track is owned by the Los Angeles Turf Club.
