In addition, car parts distributor Kelsey Hayes, Inc., renewed their lease on 62,761 sf, or half of a building at 1131 Bryn Mawr Ave. in west suburban Itasca's CMD Industrial Park. Express Logistics, Inc., leased 44,332 sf, or 75%, of a building at 10100 Virginia Ave. in southwest suburban Chicago Ridge. And floor tile manufacturer Trans Ceramica, Ltd., renewed their lease on 40,714 sf, or 43%, of a building at 1159 Bryn Mawr in Itasca.
Lyon Metal Products wanted the Romeoville space to expand operations and serve as a Midwest distribution center. The building, scheduled for completion in February, is accessible to I-55 via Weber Road. Lydon and Trammell Crow associate Chris Tecu represented Lyon Metal Products in their Romeoville lease negotiations while John Pagliari of AMLI along with Tim Thompson and Jeff Fisher of Insignia/ESG represented the owner.
Lydon represented the owner of the Itasca buildings, AMB Property Corp. David Bercu, SIOR and principal of Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler Inc. and Jim Klements of Weber, Wood& Medinger represented Kelsey Hayes. Lydon also represented Trans Ceramica. Lydon represented the tenant in the Chicago Ridge negotiations while John Suerth of Insignia/ESG represented the building owner.
